First time visit and loved it! Great service! We were seated away from the door due to consideration of our server who notes the draft coming in when door was opened. Service was great, attentive, friendly, and patient for a group of 6. Plenty of seating. I will say the seating was not comfortable as chairs had no backs and a bit uncomfortable for my older parents with back problems. Something to consider and to keep in mind depending on your group. Otherwise and fun casual vibe overall. Food was amazing. I had the fried chicken breast (huge serving sizes) and thigh. Fried chicken pieces were not oily and very crispy. The drinks were also great and creative. I would love to come back and try more items on the menu. Can't wait to go back!

This was a very good restaurant. We enjoyed a family dinner here on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed, and our waiter was excellent and knowledgeable. I opted for the veggie sandwich, which was good, though the vegetarian options were limited - my fault for choosing a chicken-focused restaurant. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I'm eager to return to sample more of their side dishes.

Idk how I'm just now writing a review on Beasleys! I have been going here for years and. Love it! Everything is ALWAYS GOOD... breakfast.. meatloaf... pot pie... fried chicken.. Mac and cheese... it doesn't matter order it and I promise you will enjoy it! Get there early cause they fill up fast and don't take reservations!!! BEASLEY'S DONT MISS!!

Super cute diner with excellent service! Started off with a cocktail, the Amelia, and OMG! It was amazing!! For lunch we had the chicken sandwich, fries and pimento Mac and cheese. My sandwich was a little dry, i would probably go for a piece of chicken if I returned. Fries with Garlic Aioli dipping sauce is a must, it all about the sauce. Mac and cheese was good. Overall, enjoyed this spot and would visit again.

Went here for a girls night out and had a fun time! I loved the decor, it's fun and eclectic and there were Christmas decorations up when I went. It's not a big location and the seats are pretty close to the wall where we were sitting. The service was really good, everyone was friendly in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken wings and mashed potatoes. All were tasty but the chicken wings were small and the potatoes weren't as hot. The fries were amazing. I ordered a cocktail and I was surprised at how small the drink was. Overall it was a fun experience, and seems like a good value besides the cocktail!

We enjoyed a Sunday brunch with a large group of 8. There was a bit of a wait for a table. Most of us opted for the fried chicken and waffle combo with whipped butter and honey, while I tried the fried catfish, which was decent. For those who enjoy a bit of heat, the Carolina reaper eggs Benedict is a must-try. And don't forget to order the waffle with whipped butter and honey - it's a delightful treat!

I definitely get why this spot is packed all the time. The food is pretty good and the staff are all friendly and warm. My friend tried the chicken and waffles and said they were amazing. I got the chicken sandwich and felt that it was a little pricey considering it doesn't come with a side but it had a great crunch and was a good overall sandwich.

In Raleigh for a college tour and we wanted a simple restaurant to try out for dinner and obviously we checked out the reviews for restaurants in the area. Me being a fan of Chicken and Waffles, I said say less. We arrived at the restaurant and were quickly seated, got our menus and unfortunately, we waited. On the night we visited, it seems that there was only one waitress but she did the best she could. We placed our orders and considering the staff shortage, our food came out in decent time. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which can be customized with breasts, wings, thighs or drumsticks. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the chicken; my only complaint was the chicken breast was too greasy and had an oily aftertaste. The waffle was delicious, well made and perfect. One interesting thing that happened that caught me off guard was my daughter ask if she could have some extra sauce for her chicken sandwich and the guy quickly says that'll be an extra charge. There wasn't that much sauce in the first place but whatever. We paid extra The atmosphere was quiet and the decor was decent. I could see myself coming back in the future but realistically, I'd probably try another restaurant.

We were in town for a concert at the Amphitheater and needed to grab a quick dinner before the show. We saw Beasley's and decided to stop in. It was a quiet Friday evening around 5pm when we arrived, but within 30 minutes the place filled up. Great atmosphere in a large open dining area with tables and bar seating. Love this casual vibe. We were greeted by our server, Ethan, and we told Ethan we were in town to see Tate McRae (sorry, Ethan! I know you were disappointed you didn't know about her show!). He was very friendly and enthusiastic! So, as for the food, we decided on a couple appetizers to start. We tried the caramelized onion dip and the fried shrimp. Very tasty. I like that the dip came with chips and cucumbers sliced longways. Delicious. For our entrees, we went with the crispy Carolina catfish, chicken breast with waffles, Beasley's smash burger, and the Veggie Sandwich. Everything was hot and fresh. Great tasting waffles from what I heard next to me. The prices and portions were decent. I wouldn't say the portions were enormous, but they were very satisfying before heading out for the night. This is in a busy spot and by the time we were finished and leaving, there was a wait. Beasley's Chicken and Honey is a great stop in downtown Raleigh. If you are in town, don't miss out.
